The short version: your dates are only used to send your reminders. We don't sell your data. We don't share your relationship details. Ever.
What we collect
Your name, email address, and password when you sign up. The important dates you add — titles, who they're for, occasion types, dates, notes, to-dos, and any contact details (email or phone) you choose to attach. Your household name, invite code, and reminder tone preference.
How we use it
One purpose: sending you and your partner the reminders you set up. Reminder emails are delivered through Resend, our email provider. To write the personalized reminder text, the details of your date (title, occasion, to-dos, notes — never your password or account data) are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI. To pick a matching GIF, a short search phrase is sent to GIPHY. None of these providers receive your account credentials, and we don't use your data for advertising or sell it to anyone.
Who can see your dates
Only the two members of your household. Each household's data is isolated by database-level security rules — other users cannot access your dates, and your dates never appear publicly.
Your control
You can edit or delete any date, reminder, or note at any time from the app — deletions are immediate and permanent. To delete your entire account and all data, email support@ourdatekeeper.com and we'll take care of it.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies, no ad networks, no analytics that follow you around the internet.
